BRIEF HISTORY

Cape Coast is one of the most historical cities in Ghana and it’s the capital of the Central Region Cape Coast is located 175km from Accra. It was the center of British Administration and capital of the Gold Coast. The Accra-Cape Coast road is lined with stunning, palm-fringed scenery. The Atlantic coastline reveals itself with variety of beach-side resorts where you can stay to enjoy the waves and the white sand. Elmina is after Cape Coast and is home to Elmina Castle.

Day One
Arrival and overnight at hotel

Day two
Depart hotel after breakfast for a Cape Coast tour. The first stop on this trip is at Kakum National Park to walk through its rich undisturbed tropical rainforest endowed with medicinal plants, excellent adventurous canopy walkway and many more. Overnight at hotel

Day three
Departure hotel to Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castles to see the slave dungeons. Continue to the beach for lunch and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day four
Return to Accra late afternoon. On way back, stop over at the ‘Pusuban Shrine’, traditional military war shrine for briefing on the origin of Akans.
