The City of Accra has been Ghana’s capital since 1877, and it’s the smallest capital among the other ten. Spreading along the Atlantic coast, the city is well endowed with luxury as well as great value hotels, excellent restaurants and nightclubs.

Among the highlights of Accra are the National Museum, with its splendid display of exhibits that reflect the heritage of Ghana from prehistoric times to modern times, the National Theatre with its distinctive modern architecture, the Centre for National Culture, Independence Square, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the fishing port at James Town and Makola Market.

Day one
Arrival and overnight at hotel

Day two (Accra full day city tour)
Depart hotel in the morning to the Du Bios Memorial Center for Pan-African Culture. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Museum named after the first president of Ghana which has Pre-historic and modern arts. A visit to the Makola market. Ghana’s biggest market where variety of items are being showcased
After lunch, continue to James town for a guided tour on the area. Return to hotel late afternoon.

Day three
Depart hotel after breakfast to Tsaley Kope / Aquah Safari beach Resort. This beach resort is located on the lower estuary of the Volta river. swimming pool and is well known for Water Sport such as jet ski, sailing, swimming (pool or river).
After Lunch, visits to neighboring island communities to experience African arts & crafts, such as basket and straw mat weaving. There are also visits to architectural heritage sites in the area.
Departure late afternoon to Accra. Dinner at hotel.

Day four
After breakfast, departure to Shai Hills for hiking, bird watching, exploring caves and mountain climbing. After lunch, departure to Accra via university of Ghana.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
